| Volunteers Are Needed by the Animals! The animals need humans to care for them. They need concerned people to clean up after them, walk them, play with them and love them. Do you have a few hours a week that you can give to these wonderful creatures? If you do...we would like to speak with you! The Humane Society of Pensacola is over 66 years old! It is totally funded by donations, adoption fees, fundraising events, memberships and memorials.
Because our staff is small, dedicated volunteers are much needed and appreciated. A volunteer is an individual who loves animals and has a sincere desire to be of assistance to the center. This individual dedicates the hours he/she can give on the days convenient to him or her.
Volunteers are usually 18 years of age or older. Volunteers who work directly with animals must sign a release form prior to working with the animals.
As a Humane Society volunteer, there are many opportunities to become involved and help the animals find new homes. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the center at 850-432-4250, or come by the LT William Morgan Davidson Pet Adoption center and speak to Judy our Volunteer Coordinator. Our address is 5 N. Q St., Pensacola, 32505.
